Join us to celebrate our victory over Big Oil! 

After months of advocacy and activism from grassroots organizations and frontline communities across California, including Youth v. Oil & SanDiego350 in San Diego, Big Oil has withdrawn its referendum to overturn the oil setback law passed in 2022. 

We’ll be hold a celebration potluck picnic at Kate Sessions Park (top of the hill, we’ll send a pin to those who RSVP about an hour before the party starts). 

SanDiego350 will host an Orientation Chat on Monday, July 8th @6:00pm- 7:30pm. Are you interested in supporting climate action in San Diego? Are you new or newer to the SD350 community? With all the negative actions that the Trump administration has been taking on climate and environmental policy, we must continue to push-back against Trump and broadcast our concern to the public. So the Raise the Alarm Team is hosting a number of Flash Banner Actions (AKA Banner Drops!!) across major arteries in North County, Central SD, and South Bay. This is our 16th banner action!!!

Youth v. Oil is advocating for the Chula Vista Sustainability Commission to pass a resolution supporting the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund, to hold the largest fossil fuel companies accountable for the climate damages they caused. 

This resolution will be heard at the Chula Vista Sustainability Commission meeting. Please help ensure the resolution passes!

Join SanDiego350 and our allies at the Environmental Health Coalition to demonstrate against a biodiesel transfer station planned in the Port of San Diego, just ⅓ mile from Kimball Elementary. This project would bring 70+ tanker trucks rolling into National City 24/7. 

Areas near the port, like National City, already experience horrible pollution (nearly the worst in the county), with elevated levels of respiratory diseases. We want to help EHC and the neighboring communities stop this project!
