Polluters Pay Resolution Vote at Vista City Council

Youth v. Oil is advocating for the Vista City Council to pass a resolution supporting the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund, to hold the largest fossil fuel companies accountable for the climate damages they caused. 

This resolution will be heard at the Vista City Council meeting. Please help ensure the resolution passes!

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is holding public hearings to receive YOUR input on SDG&E’s proposal to test adding hydrogen to natural gas at their Kearny Mesa facility. Join us to speak out against this proposal! (note there are two hearings, the other at 5 pm, come to either)

Join us for an afternoon of meeting Y4C/YVO alumni, secret Santa, and making 2026 vision boards at the Mission Hills-Hillcrest/Harley & Bessie Knox Library Community Room! This event is welcome to current, past, and new members! Join this online phone banking session to contact SD350 members about Prop 50 and the upcoming special election. Help block election rigging and level the playing field for climate action and democracy.

We’ll have a call list, phone script and sample voice mail. You’ll need your own laptop/computer and cell phone (or google voice #) to make calls. You can also contact friends and family because this is all about getting folks to actually vote. 

You’ll receive a link to the zoom meeting when you register.

Rally for better regional transportation

Join us for a short rally at 8:30 am, before the SANDAG Transportation Committee meets to call for improvements to the 2025 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). We’ll bring signs, hear from inspiring speakers, and then head inside to provide public comments at the SANDAG Transportation Committee meeting, which begins at 9 am and will discuss the RTP.

Join us to make banners and signs for an upcoming utility protest and for our ongoing Trump-resistance highway overpass weekly bannering events. 

Art builds are low key and fun, we’ll listen to music and connect with new friends. No art or climate experience necessary, we will have templates and guidelines for you to follow. Please bring your friends to this fun, creative, and social event. All ages are welcome!
