SDG&E is asking the California Public Utility Commission (PUC) to raise our rates, again.

Join us to say no to SDG&E rate hikes and to demand affordable, clean energy at one of the PUC’s public participation meetings. 

We will provide suggested talking points, signs and detailed information closer to the date, but please register now to attend – especially the in-person hearing, where we plan to hold a brief rally ahead of the meeting. There will also likely be opportunities to submit comments online.

Hands Across the Sand, founded in 2010, grew into an international movement after the BP oil disaster in April of that year. People came together to join hands, forming symbolic barriers against spilled oil and to stand against the impacts of other forms of extreme energy.

Fourteen years later, there’s a rising tide of grassroots activism demanding that we end the expansion of offshore oil drilling, especially with Trump’s threats.
