We invite you to join us for our first meeting of the year on Wednesday, February 21st at 7:00pm! As the Legislative Team we focus on reviewing proposed legislation on environmental, climate change and social/environmental justice issues, we meet with legislators and lobby for climate-forward legislation, and we engage with coalition partners to endorse climate legislation.

Youth v. Oil is advocating for the Vista City Council to pass a resolution supporting the Campaign for a Safe and Health California and keeping SB1137, the state law passed in 2022 to prohibit new or modified oil and gas wells within 3,200 feet of homes, schools, daycare centers, parks, healthcare facilities, and businesses. 

This resolution will be heard at the Vista City Council meeting. Please help ensure the resolution passes!
